Oregon High School Climbing League (OHSCL)
Interested in training and performing as a rock climber for your school?  Join the
OHSCL and get excited about the challenge of climbing and/or pursuing an individual
and team state championship.  Oregon high school students are eligible to enter the
league.

After School Ski and Snowboard Program
Founded in 1992 with volunteers, the program is a valley-wide effort to involve youth in
skiing and snowboarding.  Individual schools and districts have pre-selected program
dates consisting of 3 or more visits.  Volunteers are essential to the success of the
program.  Contact Mica Cardillo at youth@mtashland.com or (541)482-2897

After School Climbing Program
What could be better than hanging out with good friends, mentors, and chill instructors
at a nearby climbing wall?  This program is currently being developed according to a
model provided by the ski and snowboard program.  Basically, we're looking to provide
fun, constructive,  and affordable access to rock climbing under the guidance of
experienced coaches.  Students must be at least 5th grade and not older than 8th
grade.  We prefer to work with students who are already introduced to the sport and
willing to commit to at least two months (one session per week).  This program
provides a basic foundation for young athletes and will help prepare students for the
upcoming OHSCL.

MENTORING/STUDENT PROJECTS AND BENEFITS
This program works to identify opportunities for mentoring and service learning.  All
ages and walks of life are invited to participate.  The opportunities are diverse and
depend on individual needs and circumstances.  Please contact Mica Cardillo,
info@aycp.org or (541)840-7245 to get involved.
